FAQs
If your question isn’t there – don’t worry, just write to us, we don’t bite!
Our menus are deliberately minimalist and clearly structured – with a few, carefully selected ingredients.
All ingredients are fully disclosed. This allows you to introduce individual components gradually as part of an elimination diet and carefully observe what your dog tolerates well.
Once you have clarity, you can gradually switch to our menus – for a permanently natural, transparent and well-tolerated diet.
You can find more tips on this topic in our blog .
Our recipes are designed to function both as a complete and balanced feed and to be suitable for targeted introduction after elimination diets.
Thanks to the reduced ingredient list, low fat content, and transparent labeling, you get maximum control over what you feed your pet – completely without artificial preservatives. And without having to cook every day.
This makes Daily Dose the ideal choice, especially for sensitive dogs, allergy sufferers, or discerning owners.
Our meals are complete and balanced – they contain all essential nutrients, including high-quality minerals. You don't need to supplement anything to provide your dog with a balanced diet.
Optionally, adding high-quality omega-3 sources like algae oil or salmon oil can be beneficial if your dog tolerates them well. They support skin, coat, and the immune system – but are also among the most common allergens.
Barley grass can also be a valuable addition:
It supports digestion, has a mild detoxifying effect, and provides chlorophyll and numerous micronutrients.
If your dog tolerates it, you can mix it in daily.
For our menus, we exclusively use high-quality, food-grade ingredients, which we source directly from selected local farms.
Our ingredients are always fresh and unprocessed, as we avoid artificial preservation methods.
Our certified manufacturing facility guarantees the highest safety and quality standards. Every meal consists of high-quality muscle meat, fresh vegetables, and herbs – without unnecessary additives or industrial processing. Simply put: natural, healthy food for your dog.
We stand for full transparency:
All ingredients in our menus are fully declared, without hidden ingredients or artificial additives, as are often found in many commercial pet foods. This way you know exactly what your dog is eating – quality you can rely on, with a responsibility that extends beyond the food bowl.
The amount of food your dog needs depends on its weight, metabolism, and activity level.
Smaller dogs need a higher percentage of food relative to their body weight, while larger dogs need a lower percentage. Always keep an eye on your dog's weight and adjust the amount accordingly.
Our food is a complete feed and covers the need for all essential nutrients, including fatty acids. For special needs or targeted support, we recommend supplementing with algae, fish, omega boost, or wild fish oil.

The switch from dry or canned food to fresh food should be done gradually so that your dog's digestion can adjust.
Dry food on top of fresh food:
Initially, replace only one meal with fresh food.
Over seven to eight days, gradually increase the proportion of fresh food while reducing the amount of dry food.
You can mix both types of food as long as the total calories are correct and the transition is gradual. A particularly gentle adjustment is important for sensitive dogs – you can find more tips in our blog .
Canned food on fresh food:
The switchover is usually less complicated.
Gradually reducing the old food over several days helps sensitive dogs.

An elimination diet may be useful if your dog repeatedly suffers from symptoms such as itching, digestive problems, soft stools, diarrhea, or general malaise – and a food intolerance or allergy is suspected.
It helps you find out step by step what your dog can tolerate – and what it can’t.
Our menus are developed as complete food for adult dogs and fully cover the daily nutritional needs during this phase of life.
Many dogs – whether sensitive, picky, or uncomplicated – benefit from our natural, clearly labeled food.
Please note: Puppies, pregnant or lactating females, and dogs with specific medical conditions have special nutritional needs. In these cases, we recommend consulting your veterinarian regarding feeding.
