FAQs
If your question isn’t there – don’t worry, just write to us, we don’t bite!
Our menus are deliberately reduced and clearly structured – with few ingredients, monoprotein, gentle cooking and flash freezing.
All ingredients are fully disclosed – even oils and mineral blends can be purchased separately and tested individually. This allows you to specifically include individual ingredients in an exclusion diet – and to closely observe what your dog tolerates well.
Once you have clarity, you can switch to our menus step by step – for a permanently natural, transparent, and tolerable diet.

Our recipes are designed to function both as a complete, wholesome feed and as a targeted introduction after exclusion diets.
Thanks to the reduced ingredient list, low fat content, and open labeling, you have maximum control over what you feed – completely preservative-free. And without having to cook from scratch every day.
This makes Daily Dose the ideal choice, especially for sensitive dogs, allergy sufferers, or demanding owners.
Our meals are prepared in our certified restaurant kitchen to the highest quality standards. We ensure gentle preparation that preserves nutrients while ensuring maximum safety.
The meat in our fresh menus is gently cooked to safely kill germs without destroying valuable nutrients. The vegetables are gently blanched to preserve their natural nutrient density. All other high-quality ingredients—such as natural minerals and valuable oils—are added after the cooking process to preserve their valuable nutrients.
The food is then flash-frozen to preserve its freshness and nutrients as best as possible – without any artificial additives. The result?
A fresh, natural and species-appropriate meal that tastes like home-cooked food, is highly acceptable and particularly easy to digest.
Our meals are complete, balanced foods—they contain all the essential nutrients, including high-quality oils and minerals. You don't need to supplement anything to provide your dog with a balanced diet.
Optionally, it may be beneficial to add high-quality omega-3 sources such as algal oil or salmon oil if your dog tolerates them well. These support skin, coat, and the immune system—but are among the most common allergens.
Barley grass can also be a valuable supplement:
It supports digestion, has a mild detoxifying effect, provides chlorophyll and numerous micronutrients.
If your dog tolerates it, you can easily add it daily.
For our menus, we use only high-quality, food-grade ingredients, which we source directly from selected local businesses.
Our ingredients are always fresh and unprocessed, as we do not use artificial preservatives.
Our certified factory guarantees the highest safety and quality standards. Each meal consists of meat, vegetables, and high-quality oils – without unnecessary additives or industrial processing. Quite simply: natural, healthy food for your dog.
We stand for full transparency:
All ingredients in our menus are openly declared, with no hidden ingredients or artificial additives often found in many commercially produced foods. So you know exactly what your dog is eating – quality you can rely on, with responsibility that extends beyond the bowl.
The amount of food your dog needs depends on his weight, metabolism and activity level.
Smaller dogs need a higher percentage of food relative to their body weight, while larger dogs need a lower percentage. Always keep an eye on your dog's weight and adjust the amount accordingly.
Our food is a complete feed and covers all essential nutrients, including fatty acids. For specific needs or for targeted support, we recommend adding algae, fish, Omega Boost, or wild fish oil.

The transition from dry or canned food to fresh food should be done gradually so that your dog's digestion can adjust.
Dry food on fresh food:
-
At first, replace only one meal with fresh food.
-
Over seven to eight days, increase the amount of fresh food while reducing the amount of dry food.
-
You can mix both types of food, as long as the total calories are appropriate and the transition is gradual. For sensitive dogs, a particularly gentle transition is important – you can find more tips in our blog .
Canned food to fresh food:
-
The transition is usually less complicated.
-
A gradual reduction of the old food over several days helps sensitive dogs.
For a particularly gentle transition, you can initially stick with the usual food – and only add the oil or mineral blend from Daily Dose separately.
This way, you can determine early on whether your dog tolerates these ingredients well before switching completely to our menus.
With a little patience, he will not only tolerate the new food well, but also enjoy it.

Every dog is different – and that’s why clarity counts.
Daily Dose was developed so that you can choose from four clearly structured menus – with high-quality meat, few ingredients and no unnecessary additives.
Here's how to quickly find the right menu for your four-legged friend:
Wildly determined
Contains venison, potatoes, fennel and pumpkin.
Very suitable for dogs sensitive to common meats. Venison is a high-quality, lean protein – well-tolerated and easily digestible.
Horseshoe luck
Contains horse meat, sweet potatoes, carrots and zucchini.
With a fat content of approximately 3–5%, this menu is particularly suitable for sensitive dogs or those with known intolerances – even following an elimination diet.
Daily Thanksgiving
Contains turkey, potatoes, carrots and pumpkin.
A light, digestible menu – ideal for sensitive dogs or as a starting point if you are still unsure about your meat choice.
Lammour Toujours
Contains lamb, millet, zucchini and beetroot.
A nutritious meal for active dogs or those who need a little more energy. It's also very popular with picky dogs.
All menus are clearly labeled and consist of a few, high-quality ingredients.
You can order oils and minerals separately – ideal for testing them individually on sensitive dogs.
This allows the food structure to be designed individually and in a controlled manner after an exclusion diet.An elimination diet may be useful if your dog repeatedly suffers from symptoms such as itching, digestive problems, soft stools, diarrhea, or general malaise – and a food intolerance or allergy is suspected.
It helps you find out step by step what your dog can tolerate – and what it can’t.
Our menus are developed as complete food for adult dogs and fully cover the daily nutritional needs during this phase of life.
Many dogs – whether sensitive, picky, or uncomplicated – benefit from our natural, clearly labeled food.
Please note: Puppies, pregnant or lactating bitches, and dogs with specific medical conditions have special nutritional needs. In these cases, we recommend consulting your veterinarian regarding feeding.
